Condenser Liebig

Liebig condensers are devices used to condense hot gasses back to their liquid form. They are composed of a thin straight tube, through which the gas flows, within a surrounding tube. The surrounding tube contains flowing water which creates a “cooling effect” and gives it its alternate name, the water condenser. The surrounding tube is also known as a “water jacket.”
